Founded by Shannon and Ruby, Emerge combines years of experience in hospitality, catering and education to create a welcoming cookery school in London where everyone feels at home. From public cooking classes and private celebrations to corporate team building events, everything we do is built around great food, genuine hospitality and a passion for helping people discover the joy of cooking.

Our Story

Shannon and Ruby met through a shared love of food and a belief that cooking should be accessible, enjoyable and social.

After years working across professional kitchens, catering and teaching, they realised they wanted to create something that brought all those experiences together. Not just another cooking school in London, but a place where people could learn, celebrate and connect around the table.

That vision became Emerge Cookery School in South East London.

Today, our kitchen welcomes individuals looking to learn new cuisines, families celebrating special occasions and businesses searching for meaningful team building events in London. While every event is different, they all share the same purpose: bringing people together through food.
