Cancellation and Refund Policy

At Emerge Cookery School, we understand that plans can change. This policy outlines the terms relating to cancellations, transfers, and refunds for cooking classes and workshops booked through our website.

Class Bookings

All cooking class bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed once payment has been received.

Customer Cancellations

More than 14 days before the class

If you cancel your booking more than 14 days before the scheduled class date, you may choose a transfer to another available class of equal value.

Less than 7 days before the class

Unfortunately, cancellations made less than 7 days before the class date are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Failure to Attend

If you do not attend your scheduled class without prior notice, no refund, transfer, or credit will be provided.

Substitutions

If you are unable to attend a class, you may transfer your booking to another person at no additional charge, provided you notify us at least 48 hours before the class begins.

Class Changes or Cancellation by Emerge Cookery School

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or reschedule a class due to unforeseen circumstances, insufficient bookings, instructor illness, or other reasons beyond our control, participants will be offered either:

  • A full refund; or
  • A transfer to another available class.

We are not responsible for any travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred by participants.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Gift vouchers must be redeemed before their expiry date, where applicable.

Exceptional Circumstances

Requests relating to serious illness, bereavement, or other exceptional circumstances may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Supporting documentation may be requested.

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed using the original payment method and may take up to 10 business days to appear in your account.
